The
Pacific Islands Trade and Investment Commission (Australia)
Mission
statement of the Pacific Islands Trade and Investment Commission
is to contribute to the sustainable economic advancement of the
Pacific Island Forum countries by promoting trade and investment
with Australia.
PITIC (Australia) is one of four overseas agencies of the Suva-based
Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat. The Forum’s other overseas
offices are located in Japan,
New Zealand,
and the People’s
Republic of China.
PITIC works closely with a network of agencies/correspondents in
the 14 Pacific Island Forum member countries it represents in Australia.
